Anyone else planning to add courses?

The only class I need that is not full is o-chem. The school does not use waitlists. Adding is done at the instructor's discretion. Should I email instructors today to plead my case or wait to do it in person on the first day of class?

I'd do both. It's likely that they won't check their email till Monday, so it might be a nonissue. During my undergrad, professors loved if you wanted to take their class that was full.

For classes where's there's a lab involved (like o-chem), it might be harder to add if it's full because of lab spots. Just be sure to be there on the first day and hope that people don't show up. Also, emailing the professor doesn't hurt!
