mine had a lot of random anatomy..the pharm was pretty tough too.. congrats on finishing!

I wonder if I took the same test as either of you.

I had very little embryo, micro OR neuro.

A fair amount of random anatomy. But I don't get those questions right no matter how they're phrased, so oh well.

But not very much pharm either....Too bad pharm and micro were sort of my stronger areas.

Also, what is this random anatomy that everyone is talking about? As in things that were not in First Aid and Uworld? Is there any way to prepare for it at all except taking a whole anatomy course?

Took the test today! Thought it had a lot of HIV drugs, lots of random pharm (bubonic plague treatment?? How often do you get a patient with the plague??) Immuno heavy as well. Everything else seemed pretty well distributed. Hard test...I was scoring 240's on NBMEs, hoping for a 220+ right about now. I marked like 20 on one section and easily 10-12 on the others. No clue! Congrats to all you guys! Lots of hard work...time to relax and let the chips fall where they may!

I would love to know how a test is "standardized," if it doesn't even test the same material. The exam should be administered as the same test on the same day, cross country. If you fail, better luck next year.

I had the test today and it was pretty tough I think. I'm glad I took it today though. Out of the questions I was unsure about, there were maybe 2 that I would have gotten right if I had spent an additional month studying. Thats how random the step 1 is.
