Anyone else unable to log-in at Northwestern?

So I went on-line to check the status of my Northwestern application, and am getting this message when I try to log-ing "Sorry, incorrect AAMC ID number and last name combination, or you are not approved to enter this site."

I have been able to log-in on this site every time I've tried for the past few months until I today. Just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem?! What do you think is going on?!

It comes through snailmail. I could't log on a month and a half ago, I then got a letter three weeks later. Hope you have better luck than me.

The same thing happened to me last year, and I soon found out why. My file was rejected, and they took me off their database in a snap. I'm hoping that this isn't the case for you, but just wanted to relay my experience. Anyway, good luck with everything!

Thanks for letting me know. I think that I heard that the interview invites come through email. So I'm guessing that if I was supposed to get an interview, that I would have probably heard. Well, if anything changes, I'll let ya know.

How long was it from when your site went down to when you got the letter? This is frustrating - just wish they would send an email instead of snail mail (so I could now for sure).

it probably depends on your location, but I've heard as early as three days.

The same thing happened to me....and then I got the rejection letter.

Don't mean to sound pessimistic, but I think it would be wise to prepare yourself for the thin white envelope

That was probably me. I think it was a server problem though, and I didn't get that message that the OP is describing. I don't remember what the message I got read, but I got a white screen and something about a non-responsive host. I was able to log in a little later. Not that it matters, I still don't have an interview after 2.5 months.

Okay, so this morning I decided to check the Northwestern website (just in case) and I can log in again. Wow - I feel like they are really messing with my mind right now. Just thought that I would give you guys an update in case this has happened to anyone else. Maybe all hope is not lost. 🙂
