Anyone else w/ a GW "on hold" email?

Med schools don't see our school lists. On the last page of the AMCAS app, it says: "The list of your designated medical schools is provided here for your information. The schools to which you apply do not receive such a list of all schools you have designated."

True, they don't see that info. But here's food for thought: I was one of those applicants that had a mistake on AMCAS that had to be corrected. I was told by one admissions office that every school has an AMCAS representative assigned to each medical school, (they said most applicants don't know this) lots of info exchange there I'm sure. In the real world, (I'm sorry to be so pessimistic) what the hell prevents adcom from getting school info from AMCAS 'representative,' especially b/c they have such a cozy financially symbiotic relationship.

I was contradicted, good thinking. Well then i don't know why we're all on this hold list and things aren't looking very good for me 🙁. GW is one of the "safety" schools my advisor chose for me... eh.... This whole process is a roller coaster ride. I'll just wait for the end and hope that I don't throw up...

Hang in there! I'm on hold at GW as well. I dread opening my mailbox in fear of more holds and rejections: they are all going up on my wall of shame. Kind of lovely to look at $70 rejection letters.

I also received this "on hold" email, too. really disappointed. But they processed my application before my August mcat score come out, if my score gets better, will they review my application again, or they only review once regardless the fact that I said on your AMCAS that you are going to retake the MCAT?

Well, they are suppose to wait for your August scores before making a decision, but my friend got rejected from bunch of schools already before August scores even though their own instructions stated that they will not do that.
