Anyone else waitlisted at University of Michigan?

I just found out i have been waitlisted at U of M and I don't know what to do... Do they rate people at U of M and if so, is there any way to find out what number you are on the waiting list? Argggh! I now have to wait until August to find out whether or not I can go here....

Does anyone know anything about how their waitlist works or know of people who have been waitlisted in the past?

I actually declined my acceptance about a month ago because I got into my top choice. I think there will be some movement towards the end of May and beginning of June based on last year's posts. I personally feel that Michigan is one of the few schools that are very selective of who they interview, so you guys should be fine. Michigan is a great school so I can imagine how you guys are feeling. Best of luck to the both you.

hey research pharmD just out of curiosity, when did you get accepted and what was the deadline by which you had to turn in your deposit?

Peteronfireee: congratulations on getting into Wayne, it's still a pretty good school with great NAPLEX scores. I hope we get into UM soon....I just hate having to wait around, there is just so much planning i could be doing right now (apartment hunting, etc) and i can't do any of those things....

All deposits are due by May 1st (this Saturday) so the number who accept may still go up. But hopefully, it won't, and as others get taken off the waitlist for their top choice school, seats will open for you guys to fill.

I interviewed and received my acceptance on Oct. 16, 2009. I declined my acceptance before the May 1st deadline, so I did not submit a deposit.
