going on a cruise to the Caribbean this Spring break with friends.... should I be worried?

My roommate caught it in college, he spent the night clutching the toilet.

LOL. nice...I was rocking in a fetal position for a couple hours yesterday..but I think I am through the worst.

It was circulating around my college during my freshman year. They thought it was food poisoning and they made the cafeteria workers serve us food individually as we moved single file through monster lines. I caught it around that time and had it for, oh... 24 hours. I think I puked 6x. I'd just be sitting there, feeling fine, then all of the sudden (esp if sudden movements were made), stomach evacuates. I was lucky I didn't get the GI problems most people were having.

haha YES...it's insane how quickly it comes up on you. Then it dissapears..leaving you too scarred and in fear to do anything other than hide on your couch for a few days.

Tell someone you know (or you can do it yourself) to go to the grocery store and get you 2 containers of organic, plain yogurt. Pour some of the yogurt in a cup, then pour some water and stir, and drink. Yogurt is really the best thing you can have when you have stomach problems because of its probiotics (really really good for stomach), its potassium, and its good for your immune system. Do not lie down, always sit upright. Hope you feel better!
