Hey Everyone. Just wanted to get some insight. From looking at the forums real quickly, I see that Creighton, UPenn, and Western all have supplemental applications that have almost an "essay" format to them... Are there any other schools that are like that? Or are the others just paying fees? Thanks again..

By the way: What does it mean if it says "wait for an admissions officer to contact you". Does that mean that they will have an essay also, or just a fee, or narrow it down then select you or what? Thanks again!

dude, you'll most prob have to write an essay..usually about why you want to go to the school.

better yet, look at the schools you're interested in (go to their websites).

plus you can find out yourself if you go to the "dental school designations". if you hit the "+" button to add schools (you don't have to at this point), you'll have the option to see what their supplement requirements are.

as for the "wait for an admissions officer to contact you"..that is self explanatory. they will contact you when they've received your stuff, and will give you steps on what to do next.

and every school is different, some will have you write an essay before hand, some will require a fee and then ask you to write a supplement essay if you've been selected for an interview.
