Just received a secondary from Vandy, apparently they are giving anyone and everyone who applied to them through AAMCAS a secondary. A big change from previous years where only those getting an interview got secondaries. Anyways, if you have received the secondary packet how did you go about filling out the booklet? It seems a bit cumbersome to put in a typewriter and the autobiography is a bit too long to type out. I did notice there are perferations on the booklet and was thinking about just tearing out the pages. didn't know if this would be a good idea. any thoughts?? thanks in advance!

I tore it out at the perforations and typed it. The essay I did "see attached". You're right; that's a weird way to package it.

I printed my autobiography and the other questions directly onto their form. I just set the margins so they would fit (ie. 3 inches from top for page 1 auto, 2.5 inches for page 2 auto). It worked fine.

Thanks a lot for your responses.
Another question..... What did you guys say for the last question about research or scholarly actvitiy as a vandy med student? Are you guys into research?? I'm not so what could I put down to give them that picture without making myself look bad??
Good-Luck!

I plan on doing research so I talked about areas of interest, but scholarly activity could include health care policy/public health stuff, or you could probably even talk about some volunteer activities you're interested in.

I typed the biographical info parts and ran the secondary thru my printer for the essays.
