yeah.. lets first hv a common material.. i am gng to recieve in 3 days.. mosby, first aid, decks. asda.... I usually follow a jort down list.. best thing to follow is nbde 2 2011 ada candidate guide syllabus.. so first comes endo.... what say???? please remain enthusiastic & dnt let each other feel low... we gotta do it.. with a rocking score & make dental schools accept us..... CHEERS... HURRAY!!!!

i am just a beginner of prep ... so plz decide today wat to strt wid.... thing is wen one is the tune of a subject cnt switch.... so dentist 81, georgia doc , aims.. wat do u want to strt with.. and gimme a complete plan...

2. endo
3. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery / Pain Control
4. Oral Diagnosis
5. Orthodontics / Pediatric Dentistry
6. Patient Management
7. Periodontics
8. Pharmacology
9. Prosthodontics
 
lets just start operative n then endo....we can decide later for the rest, how about that?do them first from decks then mosbys .

ok ,now according to the nbde 2 test specifications mentioned in the guide, they give 31 q's from endodontics and 44 q's
from operative !
and they have given the topics from which they cover the test..........it's better to go thru 'em once ...................best of luck everyone..........hope we don't lose track.🙂

@ morphology .. wendo u plan to appear...instead of wasting time on looking from where u can get papers.... coz it usually takes half of the energy looking for stuff from here and there (my personal experience).. so i prefer to order from http://68.20.243.219/asda/members_o...rder.asp?action=catalog&catalog=NBR2&aff=ASDA

coz investing in one's study wont go waste..... good luck...

sorry friends I couldn't read the operative last week, from today I want to start endo. I have only mosby n decks.

@bds to dds Even i cudnt do operative coz my study materials didnt reach last week.. so just pull up.. lets do endo this week.... we'll figure out the back log... dnt worry.. we r in sam e boat.. come on jump in
 
Wowww...wat an excellent thread.go conquerors.just saw the thread so obviously dint do op.but when r u finishing endo and r we doing decks and mobsy in the allotted time period.and what is after endo.maybe i shall be ontime for that.super excited about the thread.🙂

* how long does it take to prepare for part 2 in average ?

I'd recommend getting the latest one. I have both and though there are subtle differences in the explanations per se they have framed questions differently in the latest one. Not to forget they have added new sections which weren't there in 2008 version.

Hello Everyone, Hope the studying is going well. I have been trying to keep up with you guys and hopefully will be done with Endo tomorrow. Excited about starting Opath one of the most important topic thanks for the suggestion aims👍... Keep up the spirit 🙂

finally hopes crushed...recieved my first rejection.. from uthscsa san antonio texas, today.... feeling low 🙁
cnt focus on studying today friends...
 
It is a low day for me as well toothfairyqueen, but remember we still have our chance with part 2 so at least try and get some reading done. We can still do it!!!

come on now dont give up ... ITS YOUR VERY 1st rejection celebrate it gurl!!! u might think i am crazy to suggest it but it should motivate you further .... IT MEANS U NEED TO FOCUS ON PART 2 EVEN BETTER than b4...I am in front of you 6 rejections so far waiting for 3 more :laugh: see how optimistic I am:xf:.. PART 2 is the key dont give up try 2ice as hard!!!! cheer up we all r with you😀
 
yeah rite... we got to do it.... thank you aims & sarika.... i am more determoned nw.... we have still bu, nyu, colorado, temple for this yr..... columbia wud soon open... we wud rip apart this crazy nbde part 2 with good marks.. i am bk to my endo decks... wud finish b4 midnite...

Hi people is anyone using Kaplan? Have Mosby, First Aid, Kaplan with Q bank and board releases are on the way, shloud get them by Wednesday, got all of them, J to M. What do you think?
 
So we start with Opath from today onward right?? I finished Endo late last night, one day behind schedule 🙁. Anyways I hope all you guys are done as well. 👍
