What anatomy course(s) did you take?

I was going to take BIO 201 next semester.

OK, so my next question: If both semesters are taken, will dental schools accept that as an anatomy course (or are they looking for UD anatomy courses)? I was looking at the schedule and BIO 201 is the only anatomy I can find for next semester.

I assume by ASU you mean Arizona State.

I am taking Animal Physiology (BIO360) right now and, from what I understand, you can only receive credit for BIO201/202 or BIO360. So, I assume that taking BIO360 will cover the A&P material you are seeking. Not sure if that answered your question but it might help.

Yes, that helps. So, what other anatomy courses are you taking or have you taken? It looks like that should be sufficient for most dental schools.

That's the only anatomy course I have taken in college. If I don't get accepted this year, I will probably take the BIO201/202 series (since I will already have my degree by then) to boost my SGPA and BCP.

Possibly none, but some of them highly recommend it.

I think that they would prefer BIO 360.

To be honest, BIO360 has been a nightmare for me and it appears to be that way for a lot of people. I would just stick with 201.

If you guys end up taking A & P try to avoid taking it with Deviche/Chandler. Professor Gilcrease at MCC is fantastic.

I second that for Gilcrease at MCC. You learn everything you need to know about A&P and she gives you a copy of the notes that she tests from. So as she lectures, you can just focus on learning the material rather than scrambling to write everything down.

OHSU does require anatomy. I know this because they sent me a note to this effect. How nice of them.
