In my case they called me the day after my interview. That was only because I needed to know by the end of the week due to a deadline from a different school. I have heard from some first year students that they called them and others said it was just the mail. I am sure if you call them they will be able to tell you.

the faculty and students at Duke were supe-nice. they really take the time to get to know you. The interview was right after the breakfast. the interviewer asked a few questions about my record, and then asked me about my experience observing PT. it was a very natural conversation and you could tell the faculty member was interested in understanding my record and not "testing" me at all. as far as I am concerned, it was very pleasant and nothing to be nervous about.
