University of Illinois at Chicago? I heard its a big medical school with lots of diversity. How's the match rate for this school? What do you think of the grading system there? Does it have a good reputation within the medical community?

for UIC Chicago people...where do most of the medical students live? I'm sure all over, but is there a particular apt complex? Stuff I've found is Medical Center Housing, Single Student Residence, and City View Apts...please comment!

What's medical center housing? Where at? Is it nice?

There is an off-campus housing office on the East side Campus at UIC. You can go and check out the apartments that are nearby. Also, you can call, Student Information Network at (312)-996-5000 and ask them where the Off-Campus housing office is located. You will be able to know how many different apartment buildings are there, how much rent, and what nots.

It's across from Cook County hospital. i guess a lot of residents, students, and attendings live there. at least, that's what the leasing office says. it's a craphole, but there's a security guard and the top floors have a great view of the city.

I am probably going to attend UIC this fall and I was wondering if there was anyone at UIC that would allow for me to tag along for a day so that I can experience a day at the Chicago campus. I interviewed at Rockford (twice) and haven't had a good look at the campus downtown where I will be going. If anyone has any time in there schedules and is will to help me just im me. Thanks a whole bunch.
