Anyone get an interview at Goucher and get rejected?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
They've changed things a bit since my cycle but I want to say they accept something like ~1/3-1/2 of interviewees. I can't remember if that was through the waitlist or not. It's a little bit late in the cycle.

Yes, people do interview and get rejected. Goucher, or any other program for that matter, is not interviewing you for kicks, however. They are interviewing you because they think you will make a nice addition to their program. Just go into the interview focused on portraying you, and you'll do fine.

Thanks. They do seem to be taking this seriously (4 hours on campus!) which is great. I was at Penn for 40 mins, I'm not sure my interviewer knew anything about me going into it except that I'm from Minnesota and couldn't answer any questions about the post-bac with answers NOT already on the site!

Anyway Goucher interview today wish me luck!

I think it went well, not that that makes me any more confident that I got in! I felt like I represented myself the best that I could though and wasn't left wishing I could have said more. Everyone there seemed so happy and...radiant!!! I'd love to go there.

Just FYI, some questions she's asked:
Tell me about a time when you failed?
Tell me about a time when you were under a lot of stress?
Why have you decided to become an MD instead of a PA or a nurse practitioner?

I felt pretty confident about the last question since my mom is a nurse practitioner and wishes that she had just bit the bullet and gone to med school because she'd have a more thorough understanding of medicine.
