I lived there for a summer...I hear they boast some ridiculously med school acceptance rates. I don't think it's really, really tough to get into. The school itself is pretty, but the surrounding area is a little bit ghetto.
Students are nice, student gym...eh, sketchy. Doesn't seem like there's a whole lot to do before you turn 21. But, you have Cincinnati Children's Hospital, University Hospital, Good Sam Hospital, and a zoo to do research...
I dunno, the students I met seemed genuinely content there. I wasn't totally sold and don't think I would cough up 30K/year to go there when I have a fabulously diverse, huge campus at my fingertips at a more reasonable price.
Again, I'm biased b/c I saw it in the summer and it was pretty much "dead." I also have a thing for Purdue. Whenever I go to another campus, I always come home so, so glad that I go here.
