To those who have interviewed , how/what are you doing waiting for the replies...and is it killing you?

It's hell inside this head. I don't want to test the limit of how much I can b**ch to friends about it. "One day it will come, there is nothing you can do now but wait." That's what I tell myself.....buuut it doesn't help. This wait sucks.

waiting sucks soooooooooo much.... but i like to believe that things will pan out as they should and so there's nothing to do but try to get as distracted as possible and just gut it out....

i remember earlier in the cycle when my friends and i were getting interview invites, all the pre-meds a year below us were so excited about their own upcoming cycle for 2008, but now as they see us all going absolutely CRAAAAZY waiting adn waiting, i think quite a few of them have decided to look into early decision programs just to avoid having to deal with this excruciatingly painful wait!

It never bothered me in the slightest. Usually no news is not good news. Usually they'll get back to you pretty quickly if they want you.

Thanks! I think alot of what we need right now is a place to complain with other poeple in our same situation, and i don't think your statment could be any further from the truth!

i love waiting, love ever minute of the never ending 'refreshing' of my email...

AND, (by the way, i'm being sarcastic), my cell phone was stolen while i was abroad, and the schools that have tried to get ahold of me, haven't been able to... even though i emailed them my new number. argh!

Checking status pages once a day for interviews/acceptances.....checking email 50 times a day hoping for a acceptance. Daily Routine. As routine as drinking coffee and going to the restroom. A bodily function even.
