Did anyone here that the class is full too? Not to offend the person who originally said it but a lot of things have gotten said that aren't true...
 
sorry its bs mcgill grad i dont know where u heard taht but its bs, i just talked to ryan and its not full it has potential to be full today, but theyre sending out acceptances today at 4 and there are about 400 poeple left on the waiting list so we gotta keep hope alive
 
confirmed... I just spoke with someone in admissions and they are getting ready to send out acceptances any minute here. Good luck everyone

I am IN!!!!!! Now I know how those people who win an Academy Award feel! I screamed and then I started balling uncontrollably!

Question: For those who got in, did you get a call from Ryan and/or Eva or did you find out through e-mail?
 
I got an e-mail but I called them like 5 minutes before they sent out the acceptances and they told me I was in. Did you get a call?

Yah, I got a call, but I was wondering if that is something they normally do or only because I have been calling them every 2 weeks

I didn't get mail yesterday. 🙁 🙁 🙁 .....Does anyone know if the class is full yet?..I think my chance is slim..... 🙁
 
I didn't get in either, but I'm glad to know that they did actually give out acceptances. That speculation before the acceptances were sent out was very disappointing. 👎

Congrats to everyone who got in! Especially to you McGill Graduate...given your moving situation, I'm happy to hear that you got in! 🙂

Thanks absurdhippo!! I really appreciate it! I am convinced the only reason that i was accepted was because i basically harassed the school! I constantly emailed Eva stating why i believe i am a good candidate for USC,asking what i can do to improve my aplication and then finally i emailed her saying that i will be moving there for sure which was sort of a risk to take cause i wasnt sure if it would be unprofessional to tell them that...... so keep your head up, if i can do it anyone can do it. dont be afraid to write them and call them and tell them you are reapplying and what you can do to improve your application, etc....this will show you are serious about attending USC and esp with their curriculum requiring self motivation, you will stand out!

When is it too much though lol...im having a hard time getting in too and I e-mail them like once a week...I think i'm totally annoying them...were u keeping in touch with Eva or Ryan? This is so frustrating... 🙁

For those accepted on May 19th, did you get the acceptance packet in the mail yet?
 
I haven't.....I think probably tomorrow (Wednesday) since they were sending them out on Monday.

OMG sorry guys i didnt even read this part of the thread until today....Im not making it up when i say I did speak to someone in admissions on friday before the acceptances were sent out (at like 12pm eastern time) and he did say the class was full at that time and it totally didnt make any sense to me.....i was devistated when he said this to me......he obvously didnt know what he was talking about.....sorry to cause panic........and good luck to everyone!
 
Well, I talked to Eva and she said there will probably be only one more small round of acceptances going out in 2 weeks. She said the last round of acceptances that went out on the 19th filled the class. But she suspects some will decline the acceptance. So if you don't hear anything in 2 weeks I guess that's it. For those who got in... what was your DAT scores and GPA?

Mr. DDS : Look on Predents.com, pick USC.....its easy and it saves everyone time.....

With the last round of acceptances, they sent out enough acceptances to FILL the class. HOWEVER, they expect that some people will DECLINE. Then they will have however many declined spots left to still fill...hence ANOTHER small round of acceptances in a couple of weeks to fill those spots. THen if those acceptances are declined...etc.

no i havent heard anything, does anybody know if the class has some empty spots and if any acceptances are gonna be going out any time soon
 
Those accepted last round had to have their deposits in by Monday of this week. My guess is that if anyone declined then they would be reviewing this week and sending out a few more acceptances this week. Just a guess though
 
For those accepted on May 19th, did you get the large packet with the housing and financial aid info.? I haven't gotten it yet and was wondering if anyone got it. The only thing I have gotten thus far is the yellow paper that we had to sign and send back.

Eva told me that after you pay your deposit, it takes 2 weeks or so for them to process your file. After that, they start to mail out all that info.
 
Is anyone in the waiting list still waiting for the hope???
I don't know what I should do next step...Keep waiting or reapply???

If the transcripts that are in my file are the latest transcripts and there have been no changes, do I still have to send in another copy by July 15? I don't see why I would have to if my transcripts will be exactly the same as the ones in my file.
