My application have been completed since 10/9.
Anyone who's gotten an interview/rejection letter from them...how long did it take?
Thanks.

Not sure exactly when my app was complete. I was notified by email.

Submitted secondary: 8/23
August 2001 MCAT faxed: 10/18
Interview offered: 11/19
Interview date: December

Just curious cause I'm not from Texas, but does Baylor show preference for Texans? Also Sterling what were your stats if you dont mind me asking? wondering if I should be expecting a rejection letter this week as I too was an August MCATer.

Not sure, but I think Baylor hovers around 85% Texas residents. I heard they must take at least 70% Texas residents in order to receive some of the funds that keep tuition so low. I am not sure if there is an "official" advantage for Texans. GPA 3.2 (too much early partying-it improved with time), MCAT 37R, Texas resident. FYI they are interviewing into February. Hope this helps.

Hang in there Blue & Gold. My app took forever to be reviewed before I got the invite, although it may have had something to do with a serious AMCAS error regarding my MCAT scores. I thought my app was complete in mid August, but it turned out that my MCAT scores were missing until early Oct. I just got my invite via email for December. Don't worry about it too much. Things will happen for you. Just to add a certain level of comfort on this thread, my MCAT is no where near Sterling's. Btw, awesome job Sterling!

Logan -- Baylor shows a preference for Texans as far as each class has to have at least 70% Texas residents -- usually it's somewhere between 70-85%, almost never more than 85%.

Also, they do interview through February and possibly into early March, so don't despair yet. Good luck.
