Anyone heard from BU?

I never heard anything from them.
I`m in the same boat! Called a few days ago, and got the same answer. I don`t know what`s taking them so long, but it doesn`t say much for how the school operates!
one of my friends was interviewed on the jan 22 still didnt hear anything from them yet
interviewedd on feb 19 and haven't heard anything since then

I assume that the rejection letters were sent to those who didn't have interviews
got rejected from BU as well yesterday. its pretty ridiculous when you have a strong application but the fact you happened to take bio 1 when you were in community college completely overlooks the fact that you took a bunch of upper level sciences and did well in them. thanks alot BU
my best friend was interviewed at BU on jan 22, he received an e mail today from BU, they inviting him for masters at BU if he didnt get in anywhere this cycle but they didnt say you are rejected or anything, its not clear if they rejected him or if they are trying to see if he interest in their masters or what lol...

lol well at least they're giving him an alternative route and perhaps it will help with his application next year (hopefully he won't need to reapply).
better than schools that make you wait 6 months before dropping the bomb on the applicant
lol ..i'm just speechless. I hate those kinds of ambiguous statements given by dental schools.
nothing in particular it was just the general stuff. but on the website they say they dont accept any prereqs at CC. I talked to admissions and told them I only took bio 1 at CC and everything else at 4 yr university w/ tons of upper level sciences like immuno, molec 1/2, biochem, microbial metabolism etc. they said well we will take that into consideration when we make out decision and you should apply anyways bc of ur stats. I hope they liked their application fee
Received/Under Review since 12/10/2010.. turned in my app. too late... acceptances eleswhere though.
I just called the school today and asked them if it was too late to send any updates on the application, they said the deadline was last monday.. I also asked if they are done making decisions and she said yes.. They are not only sending out rejections but also acceptance letters so.. for those who already had an interview, all we can do at this point is just wait till we get an email with a final decision..

i received an email last friday and they said there are just few spots left..
if i don't hear from them for 3 weeks, it means there's a high chance that i'm either rejected or waitlisted?
I got an email from them today. It basically said that the admission committee goes through a long and selective process in reviewing applications. The rest of their bulk interviews will be held in the next couple of weeks and they will start doing personal interviews until the class is filled. Hope this helps! I've been under review since August as well...🙁

So does that mean that they are still interviewing? I've been under review since september, no response....
I highly doubt that they are still e-mailing people for interview, or interviewing people. I remember they stopped interviewing in March last year. I interviewed last March and was placed on the "alternate" list in late-April last year. The "alternate" list did not move and in fact, people who were not placed on this list had a better chance of getting accepted reading from SDN. It's a good thing that BU is rejecting people this year because they kept me stranded until August when I could have planned for a summer vacation.
