Whats up peeps........its good to see so many of you interested in KU. I am a first year here (along w/ Trojandoctor and lilmo), and besides wishing you all luck in the wonderfully grueling app-process, I wanted to share with you guys some stuff that I observed from last year.
First off, try and be patient. Many people that I knew had to wait until March to get their good news. What evajaclynn says is true.....it seems as though the adcoms only accept a few people per interview group right off the back. So, if you get a letter telling you to wait until March, don't despair! There's still a good chance for you, and if you get waitlisted, I know for a fact that KU has a history of good waitlist movement.
So, even though the application process probably ranks among the most exciting and interesting parts of your lives right now don't forget to live your life up as much as possible......if you're finishing up college, kick it like no other, relax, unwind (as in, stay anti-stressed), spend time with your friends and family, and do all the stuff that you'll soon be missing. So feel free to drop me, or any of the other jaydocs on sdn, a PM, and remember to be patient. There'll definitely be more chances to be stressed down the road, so you might as well relax while you can
