Anyone heard from programs post-ROL deadline?

Just curious. Have heard that some programs send "you were placed on our ROL..." love letters after the lists are due, but alas, I haven't heard anything.

Just something else for me to stew over as we wait for March 19th. 😉

I haven't heard anything either. I actually didn't know that this was something programs did. Now I'll be checking my mail like crazy .

i think its technically against the Match policy to have any communication between applicants and programs??

It doesn't matter, and I'm not stressed about it. Just curious.

As to whether or not it would be legal I have no earthly idea. Could be purely heresay but thought I'd throw it out there.

You will not here from any programs now. They are just as anxious for the match to be over as you are. A program is allowed to contact an applicant, but they cannot tell you where you are ranked or ask the applicant how they ranked the program.
