has anyone heard of someone getting into DO school with a 3.1 overall GPA and a 2.7 Science GPA and an MCAT of 28.

i had a 3.2 and my science gpa was just about a 3.00 and i got into AZCOM, LECOM, interviewed at kirksville (got rejected, I think i just didn't see eye to eye on things wt the DO i interviewed wt, thus he kept me out, the other parts of the day went great) and was invited to interview at Des Moines but turned them down. Hope that helps.

The GPA is not terrific but MCAT is good.

The sci gpa is high enough to make it past the initial secondary screening so it comes down to the interview for you.

ME! 3.029 overall GPA, MCAT of 24 (I did have some good EC's) but I still got 5 interviews, 2 acceptences, going to UNE next week! Best of luck.
