Anyone here applied to about 25 schools?

Hi All,

I am planning to apply to 25 schools, but worried about not getting interviews because I am applying too much? Is that a myth ?

Can I ask why you're applying to that many? I'm pretty sure schools can't see where you're applying though.

I am a reapplicant, but never applied to any other schools except Texas. I realize that it is tough to get into dental school. Seeing that I did not get into any Texas schools last cycle. That's why I am applying to many out of states because I do not want to go through the same process and have another gap year.

I think if you apply to 12 schools you are ok. What are your stats? You are applying to too many

Welll yeah let's here your stats and school list and maybe we can trim it to like 15.

Are you sure schools can't see where else have you applied? I thought they pretty much have that whole AASDAS form during the interview.

My overall and science GPA is probably at a 3.48-3.52. I did get a downward trend on my last 2 semesters though with 16 hours total. The rest is an upward trend in my sophomore, junior, and my senior year.
My DAT is a 20, but will be retaking because of the expiration.

I am confident that I can break a 20 again on the DAT. I will be applying around the end of July though.
