just jumped on the bandwagon a few weeks ago.

just added SDN(keeps you updated on their new articles and polls!)

and now looking for celebrities worth adding. I think I will start with Shaq 🙂

No, it wont.

I used to think that twitter was a pointless waste of time before I checked it out for myself. When I did, I found it really useful. For example, I get all the breaking news (from different sources) from around the world as soon as it comes out right to my phone via twitter. The 140 character posts allow for only the important crucial information...as opposed to long-winded headlines. Also, you can connect with others with similar interests...they may post youtube clips, pictures, and articles that you may find interesting; twitter makes these easy to access. Also, in case you haven't heard, twitter is the main source communication between Iranian protestors, since all the internat/external communications has been cut-off. In this sense, twitter has made a mark in persian history...assuming the protesters are successful in their plight.

You should try it out for yourself!

Shaq's is worth adding - he chats with people a lot through Twitter (something that annoys the hell out of me) but when he posts stuff it's hilarious.

It's also pretty funny when he says stuff like, "I'm at the Miami Mall standing in front of the fountain. First person to touch my shoulder gets 2 free tix!"

I can just imagine the scene now...

He does it a lot in Phoenix but I've noticed he does it a lot on road games. I guess he probably has access to more tickets then or something.

It was hilarious, one day a girl won in like 45 seconds. Apparently she was near him in the mall, he posted it on Twitter, and she walked over to him. Crazy how powerful a form of communication it can be.
