Anyone know about the Integrated FP/OMT Residency in Orlando, FL?

Dr. Crow from PCOM started it 2 years ago. As far as I know it is unaffiliated with any school. Crow is very good, just has an interesting personality. Don't know anything about the program itself but Crow has alway taught well when I have had the chance at school/UAAO/Convo. He is exceptionally good w/ cranio-sacral.

Thanks for the good replies. Keep em' coming

Hey bro, give me a call sometimes and I'll fill you in on my experience.

2 years for FP residency or the combined?

It's four years total.

One year internship
3 years FP/NMM

im referring to ultimateDO response of the program being only 2 years old...

im well aware of Orlando's FP program as im a core student... im just calling him out and his bs.

Ah, I see. Sorry I misunderstood. You're right, it is older than 2 years old. It was not started by Dr. Crow, but rather Dr. Laura Rampil. Dr. Crow is the director now, but he did not start it. He has been there about 2-3 years now. They have put out at least two graduating classes now, so that puts it at about 5 years old (the FP program is older). I rotated there when I was a 3rd year and I know some people in the program and people who have graduated from it. It is affiliated with NOVA and is one of their hub sites.

Crow told us he was going there to start the NMM part of the program when he left in 2004. That would have made it 3 years ago. If the NMM part of the program was there before 04 then I stand corrected.

lol, it's really just a technicality who started it. Dr. Rampil ran it for about 2.5 years as the "interim director" so yes, Crow would be the first full director of the program. He had just been there a couple of months when I rotated and there were already people in the 4th year class that would be graduating in two months. Dr. Crow likes to make himself seem more awesome than he really is (hence the title)...which is hard because he is quite awesome in general. The man has skills and can teach.
