anyone out there applying only 6 schools?

Just wondering how many of you are applying only 6 or any lower number than that for this 07 cycle? I'm asking this because i have applied only 6 schools and debating whether i should add more 😕 . I came across some of the posts saying that this application cycle would be so competitive? Wasn't it very competitive in the past ( i thought it was) ? I am afraid, would i be safe with this 6 schools? Or am I taking a risk? 😕 I know this is totally my call but my answer to this question has never been clear as black and white. Any suggestion?

My Stats: AA21/TS21/PAT17
I have B.S in Biochemistry and my overall GPA is 3.5/ and sci is 3.45 (my calculation, not AADSAS)
applying schools : UPenn, Maryland, UMDNJ, NYU, Case, Temple

also, consider the schools you are applying to..

don't apply to all top tier schools. try selecting schools that you feel you have a good chance at.

Your stats are close to mine. 🙂 I applied to 6 and got into 5, so I think you should be fine. Are you applying to your state school too? If you haven't added that, you should add it too. THat you have a better chance of getting into.

But you shouldn't have a problem getting into Temple as long as you apply early/interview well. I don't think the others will be that bad either.
