Anyone passed with UWORLD only?

Spent a month reading first aid cover to cover. I'm now doing Uworld timed random and reading the entire explanation for every question. Anyone done something similar and passed? I'm scoring 50-75% on each set of questions. I'm 320 questions in and my average is mid 50's and improving.

You mean as your only Qbank? Yeah that's totally possible. I particulary don't like the other Qbanks anyway and feel like Uworld is the most helpful and representative. Just make sure you annotate as you do the questions too so that you'll read over your weakness during your second run through of FA.

I mean one pass of first aid, one pass of Uworld, take step 1. I'm an average student, middle of the class.

I would probably go through FA again, or at least watch pathoma. If all you want to do is pass it then you could maybe just do UWorld but why risk it? That's just my opinion

I've been watching pathoma with classes. I'll probably watch it again too I guess. I've retained a lot from just reading first aid thoroughly though

Have you done an NBME?

I know someone who passed with just doing UWORLD (due to a family emergency they didn't have time to include other resources), but they weren't very happy with their score. I've been told UWORLD is number 1, and pathoma is number 2. Might help to look at pathoma again and get some NBMEs in if you can.

Haven't done an NBME mainly because I only have enough time to finish Uworld, and an NBME score wouldn't really change my strategy. I'm just doing as many questions as possible.

I guess doing Uworld means very different things to people. When I say do Uworld I mean understand and memorize every line of text.

sure the exam is mostly based off of concepts in FA and Uworld. Uworld helps master the concepts. best predictor of your step score is an NBME. Do at least 2 and that will tell you where you stand.

You'll pass for sure if you can do that.

I know someone who used UW only, didn't even read FA because they didn't like the format, no pathoma or Goljan or BRS path or any other resource, and got 230.

Having finished UW and gone through FA a bunch of times I can say with 100% certainty that there are many things in FA that are not in UW (directly or indirectly).
