if anyone is planning to take the DAT by end of july let me know and keep in touch. I think it would be great to motivate on how far along you've come for studying. I started studying a few days ago. I took DAT before and didn't do too well, so yeah bummer taking it again.

Im taking it at the beginning of July. Would be great to keep up with eachother while studying. Am using the Kaplan blue book, Shaums biology guide, and dat destroyer. Good luck!

I still dont kno when im taking it lol. I havent set a day yet....how long do i have before the exam for me to set a day to take it?. lol

I'm in the same boat, haven't set a date. I plan on taking it July 6th though. In the verification email, they said i could take it anywhere from 7-6-09 to 7-6-10.

Do they let you take the test earlier if you call them?

You can take the test whenever you want as long as the center you're interested in has an appointment available for you. You can check that on prometric's website.

you can technically take it any day you want (one of the prometric centers by me even does sundays!) - but just beware, those days fill up pretty quickly! i wouldn't delay on setting a date much longer - also having a set date helps with getting up the motivation to study.

i'm set for july 26th (i just hope i don't have a physics midterm the next day 😱)

Wassup brudda!?! I'm taking my DAT July 17. The studying is definitely coming along since my first practice diagnostic (AA 13). Let me know how you are doing and feel free to PM me n such... or just give me your AIM.

Hey guys im takin it july 22nd, any teamwork would be helpful, im puttin 2-3 weeks top to review everything and the rest to do questions and practice as much as possible. Im studyin on Kaplan BB, DAT destroyer, Topscore, Crack DAT, and im getting Cliff's soon. My aim is talibtnt add me if u wanna study together or something

I'm scheduled for July 8th, but we'll see how I feel when it gets here! I am using Kaplan BB, Destroyer, CDP, Cliffs AP Bio, Topscore, my old orgo textbook, and an old AP Chem study guide from high school! Good luck everyone!

Hey quick question can you say register for the DAT with the schools allowed in the registration price and then add more schools anytime to send your scores to?

u r allowed to choose 5 schools with the price ,,,u can add more l8r but ull hv to pay i think 25 for each n in this case it might take 2-3 weeks to process and send ,,

Yes! you can add schools after your registration. However, remember that each time you add a school, ADA must first process your scores, and then send them out to the school of interest, and this will take some time (~3-4 weeks). So, if you're sure about the schools you're interested in, I suggest you go ahead and choose them at the same time you're scheduling your exam in order to avoid any delays.

i'm taking it on the same date (July 8th) and studying with exactly same materials as you do!

Dear all,
We have about one more month to do this thing that might change our course of life! I wish you all good luck and let's cross our fingers for each other! btw, pushing each other and helping to go through it together, i second that idea!

EEEEP! I'm scheduled for June 12th...and I'm kinda terrified...practice tests are not going too well!!! I tend to make dumb mistakes 🙁

July 10th here... feeling good on the sciences and PAT but RC and QR scare the shiz out of me. Anyone else in the same boat?

July 22nd here!!! I was suppose to take it today but I rescheduled because I was definitely not ready! I'm studying the Kaplan blue book and using TopScore for practice. We alls should keep in touch. I have finished the Bio, PAT, and some of the orgo and QR from the KBB. I also took the Kaplan practice DATs they have at certain areas. I didn't do well the first time but I increased my scores the second time, especially the RC and the PAT.

-doing 1 section a day

-concise and to the point
5) DAT Destroyer
-doing 25 problems x section / day

In a week or two:
6) Gonna work on Topscore and Achiever

As I said mines the 1st and i like the outline here bud. Pretty much idential to mine. I guess thats why i'm a week ahead 😀. Just did my first acheiver today and saving the TopScore closer to test day.
Btw, those videos are pretty solid for a general review. Used them for some needed review in gases and electrochem

So I already registered for July 14th, but only selected 5 schools 'cause I'm not sure about the rest. If I add school names before I take the test, it's not gonna take any extra time, right??

Nah, I didn't join ASDA. Waste of $50 dollars (or whatever the enrollment fee is). I'm taking a class this summer so I'm pretty much there everyday. I might be heading there on the weekends, but studying at the library is weird and uncomfortable alone. I can't seem to concentrate.

Same here. I'm genchem 1 with Bott in the mornings, mainly as a refresher course (easy A for me since I already took orgo and pchem and got A's there) then I and go to the library and study DAT stuff til about 8pm.

It's too bad you didn't join ASDA... some of the stuff they do is worth it, like TMOM's.

What's TMOM's? I didn't join ASDA because its not going to add anything for my application that my 6-year dental hygiene experience hasn't provided.

Oh yeah, that's understandable.

TMOM = Texas Missions of Mercy. Basically they're really big volunteer events where a ton of dentists, hygienists, etc. gather up and do a lot of free dental work on people who dont have access/money. It's pretty crazy.

retaking the test before end of july. Studying for a standardized test aint fun , its too much.

am using Biology reecee campbell (pretty good comparing to what i used for my biol class), gchem text book ( just to make sure i am not missing anything), orgo textbook by Wade. Kaplan, DAT Destroyer, Math Destroyer,CDP PAT+math.

My plan is to finish going over the textbooks before july and just do practice problems for 3 weeks.

July 23, 39 days to go..... :-(

almost finish going over all the bio question in the outline by topscore,

planning on spending 15 days on gen chem and orgo chem

and the rest of the time practice exam.

my third and final DAT :O
Im almost done with all the materials, most of my time I dedicated to BIO cuz I got 19/18 on my DAT s . I m trying to boost it up a bit this time.
Im using mainly (campbell bok , i covered all the book :O, cliff Ap. Mcat examcracker/Barrons/Kaplan, Destroyer and GRE Bio,some genetic notes from my undergrad.
chem (AP chemistry which is a bit harder than the real thing but it gives a good brush on all the subjects, some youtube videos too
Ochem 😛urley Destroyer, Kaplan, and examcracker practice ( I really recommend it .
RCCCCCCCCC, oh BOYYYYYYY , so far my worst . ive been trying though, hope not to get ethic and anything crazyyyyyyy. just pacticing reading every thingggggggg at least 2 hours a day.
PAT (barrons method and book ) helped me boost my PAT 2 points.
QR (barrons, destroyer
