I bought the Kaplan book and I read it, but honestly, half the time I was just reading to get the nagging thoughts out of my head. Was I actually paying attention to what I was reading? Most of the time, no, especially on some of the biology sections that I had never learned before. The chemistry section did help me refresh my memory though. Anyway, the point I am trying to make is that in addition to reading up on things you have learned in the past, you should also take several practice exams. The Kaplan book had one full length exam and the PCAT website has 2 practice exams that I took. Two days before the exam I bought the barrons PCAT book, which was full of practice test questions (I wish I bought it earlier, lol).
So in conclusion you should do two things:
1.) Read the Kaplan book to get reacquainted with things you learned in your undergrad classes.
2.) PRATICE TESTS!!
