Yes, happy to say that I have received an acceptance. But I'm still waiting on my state schools to show me some love. Probably my top choice out of state right now.

Passthesashimi, you interviewed at several UC's. I think you should be answering that question, not asking others, hahaha. But I would choose a UC over AECOM because of cost and location. I only interviewed at one UC, and have another one coming up soon. Can't really comment yet, but the one UC i've been to impressed me more than AECOM did.

For the person wondering about AECOM's reputation....I think it ranks somewhere in the 40's in the US News ranks, but right now I work at the NIH and just finished working in a hospital, so I've talked to lots of researchers and physicians about my interviews (including a few of the people who hire fellows here), and AECOM seems to be the school that is most well regarded, among the schools that I've applied to anyway (GW, GTown, Vanderbilt, Tufts, MCV, NYU, and Dartmouth). So for what it's worth, and to me it was worth something, AECOM seems to be a pretty well respected program in both the research and clinical worlds. Not sure how it compares to UC schools, but I thought I'd throw this out there 🙂. I probably won't get in, but some of you obviously have!
