I'm a reapplicant, about to start a one year masters program in September. I'm filling out secondaries at the moment and some of them want letters of eval from professors from graduate school to finish the secondary.

How do they expect you to get letters and have a completed application in a timely manner?

I think those requirements usually apply more to students who have been in the program for at least a year. For example, MCW's policy for grad students who haven't started their program yet is:

One letter from the dean or department chairman - this letter must include a statement indicating that they are aware of your medical school application.

If the school doesn't specify their requirements for master's students who haven't started their programs yet, I would call and ask. They really can't expect you to have a letter from a thesis adviser or grad professor at this point.

Yea, I've been calling and for most schools thats the case. I wish they would have specified.
