IS anyone in this forum still waiting to hear from USC?? .+pissed+ I interviewed almost five months ago and still yet to hear from them??? Do you guys think I still have a chance to get accepted in June?? I wish they could just tell us if people are going to get rejected or not rather than put everybody that interviews there on their waitlist and keep us nervous all this time... My gpa is 3.5, DAT 18/18, over 600 hours of volunteering but no research experiance. Thanks for the input

I heard that USC was slow in filling their class. So I still think you have a good chance to get accpeted.

Thanks for your comment Juan7677. I feel a little better now.

Hey, DDS2008.
I totally feel ya. It took me a while to receive my acceptance from USC, too. As Juan mentioned, USC does things little slower than other schools. Eva told me that a bulk of acceptance letters will be sent out between March and July, and sometimes up until the orientation week. I'm guessing that the class is about 2/3 full or maybe 3/4, which means there are still 30~40 spots left to be filled up. And you never know, people change their mind even after making deposits. So, I would still have fingers crossed.

don't worry usc accepts people up to like two weeks after they start... 🙂 good luck 🙂

Chris and StarGirl....Thanks alot for your inputs...I really appreciate it..😉 your comments gave me some HOPE.

call them and ask! Don't let them forget about you.

hey dds2008

did you hear anything yet? i've been waiting also but im thinking the class should be about full by now... even with usc's slow process.

hope you had better luck than me.

i wish they would just send rejection letters so people don't wonder and wait...

hey batzmaru,
I totally agree with you. Well, I still havent heard anything from them. I called them a few days ago and they said "the class is not full yet but its getting there". Hopefully will hear something soon cuase many people I know or talked to say that we still have a chance, so keep fingers crossed! By the way everyone, pleasssse post if you or your friend gets accepted to USC around this time, so will know if their waiting list is moving.

My friend, who is a D1 there, said that there are 8 or 9 spots open still.

To the OP: Call and make sure they don't forget about you! Not that they would, but when spots are tight the acceptance sometimes goes to whoever makes the most noise!

Good luck!

Yes, the squeaky wheel usually gets the grease, unless you are talking about the job market. Be persistent.

That's what I did.
I emailed them once every two weeks to let them know that I was still interested and why I would be a great candidate.
Good luck!

I will be giving up my spot at USC so somebody will be getting my spot! 😉
