I was wondering if you can tell me about some places where i can rent an apartment. I would also like to know which areas are safe and which ones are not? Does anyone lives in U of Iowa apartments? Do you like to live in there? Please, let me know. Thanks.
 
west side of iowa city. about 15-30 mins on the bus. Bus drops you right at the dental school.
 
Just think - you'll have a half-hour bus ride in the morning and afternoon to study over your notes instead of having to drive. That's always nice.
 
If you wanted to, you could probably find a place 2 or 3 blocks away from the dental building.

I've studied at the college and am in residency there now. I must say first that you'll live cheap if you're in university apartments...but seriously, it's where all the chinese grad students live. They're like bunkers, I would strongly not recommend living there.

There are plenty of apartments around the university. Problem is, Iowa City is not known for having great online rental websites.
