Ive had this issue since middle school or even before, it started when I was playing baseball, I thought it was the climate. But every time I play a sport, or do average things my hands begin to sweat. When I know I will shake hands I over analyze and surely enough, the hand sweating never fails to appear. Any remedies, and has anyone else had this condition?

My roommate suffers from primary focal hyperhidrosis in her palms - they're almost always moist and clammy regardless of use or temperature. She went to see a doctor who ran some tests, concluded it was hereditary and prescribed an antiprespirant lotion. Hyperhidrosis that appears at an early age (late teens), is localized and has no associated symptoms is not medically serious - but it does cause inconvenience.

Hope that was helpful. 🙂

OTC: Baby Powder
1st Line Script: Aluminum Hydroxide 10-20% powder on your hands, hands wrapped in plastic while you sleep

2nd Line: Sympathectomy vs sweat pore destruction (more effective in arms than on hands)

Good luck

Thanks guys for your help. I started using that aluminum hydroxide before bed yesterday, but I didn't wrap my hands. I just went to bed without anything. Ill try wrapping them as it says in the instructions for better results. So far hands still moist most of the day, but its only day 1
