Anyone taking physics 2 over the summer?

Yeah I hear ya brother. I just finished an exam yesterday... but only after some ***** ran a red light and totaled my vehicle (my car did a 1080). Walked out with bruises and cuts all over the place, the first thing that came to mind was, GAGH MY PHYISCS EXAM. So I proceeded to have the cop drop me off at my prof's place of employment 30 mins after the accident and write the exam there as I gasped for air (seat belts hurt 🙁 )and limped to the table.

All I can say is, damn I'm awesome. But more importantly, I will do anything to not have to drag out my physics class any longer then it has to be.

1 more day of class! -- Hopefully nothing else that will require me to prove my devotion to not having to extend my physics tenure.

Anyone else take an exam yesterday? So frustrated, I was doing the homework problems well and then when I sat in front of the test yesterday I started doubting myself.

After the exam I thought of all the mistakes I think I made. 😡

I probably did better than I thought I did, but not as well as I could have.

We will see I guess!

Juicec I can't believe the prof made u take the exam after getting injured. What a prick! Kudos to you for taking it though.

Vanilla I got an 82 but the prof says he "graded too harshly" on a problem that he set up wrong so I may wind up with a few extra points. The next exam is gonna be a killer I don't understand this as well as I did circuits.

I'm hoping that the end of the semester when we do nuclear physics that a lot of that overlaps with what we did in chemistry.

2 more exams then the final!! These weeks have felt like years....

haha I just got mine back and got an 83

I'm pretty sure he made a mistake on one of the problems, cause I used a formula from the solutions manual that manipulated a bunch of other formulas and he just wrote -4 and circled it?

Yes I took Phys 2 and the lab and Gen Chem 2 and the lab this session. All of my grades are in except for Gen Chem 2. All A's so far!!!! Good luck. It's been one hellacious semester.

I'm sure you got the A, but even if you didn't my MD/DO friends say that they didn't get all A's or any A's at all in physics and they are now physicians so its def possible to get into med school without all A's.

Physics is also one of those classes that the teacher can make it manageable or extremely difficult. My class wasn't easy, but he could have made it 100x worse if he wanted to.

I also spent at least 2 hours a day in the tutoring center asking questions on things I didn't understand and doing problems every night when I got home from school. There were some people in my class who put half the effort in that I did and still got the A, it all depends on the person.

Congratulations! My class doesn't end for another two weeks, but as of right now, with one test down and a bunch of homework done, my average is above 100%, and I haven't really been studying. (Yay curve! Yay unopened hints on MasteringPhysics!) So I'm going to have to try really hard to screw this up.

I'm so happy- now to relax and enjoy the last month before the fall semester starts up.

I hate you a little bit for this, though. Stats starts the Monday after Physics II ends. NO BREAK SOUP FOR ME.
