anyone transfer UG Schools?

I love this site!! I had a quick question and thought i might give it a try here... I used to go to Brandeis University where the classes are 4 credits each, and now I attend SUNY STONY BROOK, where the classes are 3 credits each, how does AMCAS equalize these grades in the GPA or do they? Thanks!!!

i'm not sure what you mean by equalize and i am not sure about what type of term system Brandeis is on... but if your question is, "will an A from a 4 credit course at Brandeis be weighted the same as an A from a 3 credit course?" then the answer would be no. the 4 credit A would get you 16 "points", while the 3 credit A gets you 12 (term systems being assumed the same for the schools).

the grades are broken down by term, school, etc. on your amcas so it's not like the adcoms will accidentally overlook anything that may be in your favor (or against it).
