I already purchased their 10 (GS 1-10) practice CBT tests. I'm wondering if I should get in addition their 10 verbal tests? Are they any good?
Didn't they just update their verbal or something?
About late 2011/early 2012.
I'm read previous posts of people using GS but the standard, no pun intended, has always been EK and TPRH for verbal

Yes, you are correct.
I don't have experience about GS's newer 10 VR package, but we have used their individual FLs and its VR are not great. I suspect they had not changed the VR sections in the FL themselves. So, their NEW VRs "may be" better.
EK and TPRH are suggested to be used as the primary backbone for SN2ed schedule through out. Of course the VR package in AAMC assessment is great.
If one like to use GS VR package, I would suggest to use at/toward the front end of the study cycle and used as practice ONLY. It should serve THAT purpose.
P.S. If one looks at the SN2ed schedule, it is a sine wave and is peaking at the end of 2nd month. If one plans his/her schedule carefully, one can take advantage of the GS 10 package to use them spreading out "supplementing" the key EK and PR VR stuff by putting some GS in front either just before or the first couple of weeks of the SN2ed cycle and a few the last 2 to 3 weeks when you run out of VR stuff. One can see the SN2ed VR stuff is thinning out the last 2/3 weeks. Well, last minute push, especially for those sitting on the fence of VR 7/8/9. That push may get you +1 or +2 points....why not.
Good point. I wonder how Kaplan compares to GS
We have used quite a few Kaplan and they are not bad. I would rate them better than the VR in GS FLs. Of course, if one wants to do more Kaplan, you need to attend their classes.
If one can't afford the Kaplan class, just go to amazon.com, or local library getting their Practice Book (which contains 2 paper & 2 online FL) and its 45 book which loaded with more than one FL material. Its VR is not bad in my opinion.
Yeah that's why I asked. I bought the Kaplan Verbal work book that was supposedly updated for 2013 test, though I think it's the same material. It has four practice tests in the back. This one doesn't come with any online FL for, what I see though...what I'd be interested in knowing would be a ranking between TBR, GS, and Kaplan. I have the TBR verbal workbook too, which has something like 8-10 tests but I hear the questions are drastically different. I tried reading their approach too. 24 question types they say. I love to find out if someone used the technique. Because 24 question types is outrageous, but hell, if it works, I'd try it
Bottom line if i exausted AAMC, TPR VR Book, Examcrackers,
Should I get the 10 VR tests from GS?
Anyone try them recently ( 2013) , they say they changed them?

My only advice would be to use GS to help you practice reading the passages only. You should still study your previous material to keep in mind what a typical verbal question will look like. This may help you guide your reading. Last thing you want to do is tailor your reading to question types that won't be presented on the real test
