My school is offering us Lecturio as a USMLE resource just wondering if anyone has used if and if they could post their experiences with it.

Thanks 🙂

Are they giving it to you for free? If so, use it if you want, but I wouldn't pay for it. I thought it was pretty useful for preclinical coursework, but not focused and specific enough for USMLE.

No they're asking us to pay for it. Thanks for your reply, it seems to match most of the other comments I've read about it, seems BnB is just superior.

Thanks 🙂

If its free, its /acceptable/ for histo and anatomy. Otherwise a generally weak resource which is definitely not worth the money.

It's just a bunch of lecturers doing short clips on subjects, with no pics for clinical content, and very, very few case histories.

The item banks are filled with errors and bad items. You can find identical content on YouTube for free, and delivered in a better format.

I can't recommend it

Definitely won't be getting it. Thanks everyone 🙂

For anyone reading this in the future, just tried it for my renal block. It is okay for a qbank once you've exhausted the others, but I found multiple errors (3-4) throughout the ~80 renal questions I did.

I get it for free from my school.
I find their Histology section helpful. I like the concept of spaced recall but they don’t always have accurate questions. I think their Q Bank is nice to have as a free resource, but no where near USMLERx or UWorld or AMBOSS. IMO not worth money
I’ve also not had the best luck with their customer support but I’ll save that story that’s not what you asked.
