Hey guys!

I'm applying to PhD Counseling programs. I'm struggling a bit with my PS.

I would really appreciate it if someone could edit it for me. Specifically, I'm torn between two different introductory paragraphs. I'm also not sure if I should include the work I did with my honor society.

Finally, I'm not sure how specific I'm supposed to be regarding my research interests. I'm under the impression I'm supposed to read my POI's work and come up with ideas on expanding their research. Is this true?

Anyway, if you are interested in helping, or could answer any of my questions, it would mean the world to me. It's okay if you're in clinical instead of counseling. Please send me a PM or respond on here and I'll PM you.

Thank you so much in advance!

Having strangers look at and edit your PS is an awful idea. Why not have your professors help you out?

Because they're busy right now.

Also, I meant for this to be directed towards people who have already gotten into graduate school.
