If you already applied to programs and just found out you were elected for AOA, do you just update the ERAS profile? Does that assure that programs who have already downloaded your application know about it?

Well if you put the new info in ERAS, then most of the programs that are still downloading applications will probably upload the new/revised one. I would think if you are applying to something like IM they have probably not even looked at the applications yet.

I'm curious to see what some of the program directors on here think.

Thank you! I wish they would have told me yesterday, and then I could have just put it into the original application. But, I am fortunate just to be selected....I guess i just update the profile? Thanks again

Update your prfolie. The next time that programs download information, your new AOA status will be updated. If they have printed your application, it will be flagged for reprinting.
