I was wondering if senior AOAs get notified on time to include it in their application for the match or you have to be a junior AOA to put that on your application especially for those doing early match residencies. Does anyone know?
It depends on the school. Each school has its own policy. Some schools purposely announce after the match to try to lower the level of competitiveness. I think it is pretty unusual for senior AOA to be announced in time for early match specialties.
Our school announced senior AOA in October. Plenty of time for regular match, since most competitive programs don't offer interviews until after November 1st.
