I have the second edition. It's okay, but i feel its very light on the subjects of plants and taxonomy.

I ordered the 4th... I am supplementing that with cliffs which I am almost done reading (what a booooring book)... I also ordered some flashcards they seem to really help reinforce the material. I also make random cards on my ipad from destroyers bio... In any case thanks for your replies 🙂
