My understanding is that the images can be a big help if you actually go to the course. I don't know if that difference alone is widely considered "worth it," and I never went to the course itself -- just notes & audio -- so I can't compare. The notes & audio were certainly useful. I think if you're really using them as review aids, not as study material for things you've never seen before, the utility of images is lessened. YMMV.

You may also find that taking a week off of the usual residency work in order to go to the course is in itself a big help in the preparation process, heh.

any body knows if buying osler audio course is enough or attend the real course is a better idea 😕

I would only get the CDs if you spend a lot of time communting or working out at the gym.

I took the course and found some of the notes very helpful; others not so much.

I did think the audio lectures were valuable, especially in CP. I studied from the Osler notes for BB, MIcro, and Heme in conjunction with the audio, and I think it helped me. That's pretty much all the BB I knew, it helped me focus for Micro, and there were some Heme things that I didn't quite understand and it helped clarify. I would recommend them.

I probably listened to some of the AP lectures (soft tissue, renal, endocrine, can't remember any more) and it helped focus studying, but I probably listened only once through, and on a commute (long one in residency) or at the gym.

Agree for sure on those 3...they were great. I listened to the audio in the car everyday. I am more of a visual learner (as many pathologists are, I am sure), but it still helped a lot. Also, the liver lecture by Aaron Auerbach was very helpful. I got more than one question correct on the exam because of that lecture. The hemepath was fantastic...easily 5 questions (on AP even) that I got correct because of Adam Bagg's teaching in the hemepath lectures.
