Hey. I am a junior attending a top 10 school, and I have all my requirements except for first semester Physics. I have the AP from high school, got a 5. I took second semester physics-A. I took the MCAT 13P, 12B, 10V, S. GPA: 3.675 BPCM: 3.59. Should I take first semester physics again, or will UC schools such as UC Davis, Irvine, and UCLA make exceptions if a student has demonstrated strength in a subject (ie Physics)?

Does anyone have experience with this?

UCLA won't accept any AP credit.

Will your school let you take first term physics?

They will, but I probably can't take it until my last semester, or at best 1st semester senior year. I am almost a second semester junior. Also, I am not sure about whether to take 1st semester physics because my pre med dean said that he would write in my committee letter about my situation regarding the credit.
