In high school I took AP Calculus and AP english and therefore only took one semester of english in college, and no calculus class. Is this going to be a really big problem in applying to DO schools?? because I am applying this summer, and don't really want to take another english or math class.

there won't be any problems with the credit you received from AP exams. If you scored high enough on the tests to get an actual grade on your school transcript, the med schools will let you use that. if you just received credit for those classes, there won't be any problems either. on your applications, just put CR (i think) in the grade columns for those classes.
