Looking for a job on the East coast and I see Apollo MD coming up quite a bit. I did see an old thread about them from 2015 and thought to message those people directly, but a lot of them haven't been active on here for a while. I'm wondering if anyone has any updated info/thoughts on Apollo as an employer? Curious what it's like to work for them and what their employment model is.

I vaguely recall something about FF, but I don't recall, and, if I was a douche, I don't go looking back for it.

Edit: I found it. I wasn't a douche. Someone asked what relevance the Two Dudes Bowl had to EM, and I just said that it was tradition here.

You are correct...It was "dotcb" but i always remember your name from that thread many years ago. What does your name mean?

for me I liked the Geico Caveman commercials at the time and wanted the avatar and a name to fit it.

I'm not Jewish, but "Apollyon" was the "Angel of Death" - the nominal one that flew over all the houses, taking the firstborn sons, but "passed over" those holes with blood on the door edges. Alternately, "Apollyon" is "the Destroyer", from Greek, which coordinates with "Abaddon" in Hebrew ("Sheol and Abaddon" is "death and destruction").

It's a name I used gaming. Rolls off the tongue, it's literate enough, and has a powerful meaning.
