Ah-Pa-fa-sis is how I tend to pronounce it. However you could also pronounce it as Ah-pa-to-sis as both will sounds around the same. Eh Tomato- Tamato.

I pronounce it as A-POP-Tosis, but I was listening to a talk by one of the guys who discovered it as a he said it's A-PA-tosis... But if you say that to your peers they'll look at you like "wtf?" haha. So, just go with what works, A-pop-tosis.

Yeah, I worked at an immunology lab that specialized in thymocyte development in the thymus and we pronounce it as a-pop-toe-sis

In english, Pronounce it just like it's spelled.. A-pop-tosis...it's really not worth opening.

If your Greek, pronounce it's apo-to-sis from the Greek root ptosis as the p is silent there..
