APP getting bought out by Schumacher

CMGs go bankrupt because they are not aligned with high quality care and have too much overhead. If FC and Neighbors can go bankrupt when most other FSERs were flourishing tells you how top heavy they were. I had a friend who owned 3 FSERs in DFW and doing quite well. One of the owners thought it was a great idea to expand quickly by brining in a VC. Well, a few yrs later VC didn't get the return they thought, and shut all sites down.

SDGs should be able to do well if they stay lean. At worse, they will have a better work environment but in reality the hospitals now a days are a major reasons for poor work environment.

But if history is an indicator of future outcomes, greedy docs who run successful SDGs will eventually turn into a micro CMG and take advantage of newer docs esp when income starts to run dry.
