Will it be late if i submate my App on July 15. Another question is am a URM, how will this stat determine my admission to MD school. my my Nonescience is GPA is 3.1 (1 F) and my Science GPA is 2.6 (incding 1 F and D With As and Bs in my other Biology courses) CC GPA is 2.8. For the past three years i have been working as a medical interprater, and working Full time else where while going to school and doing other volunteering outside of the medical environment.I am considering Both DOs and MD. I am applying to 30 MD schools and 10 DO schools.I do not know where i am heading with this.

I'm sorry , but your gpa is too low for Md. You would have to retake classes and have a killer mcat for a chance. Urm will help though. Just keep plugging

I have taken advance biology classes and got Bs and As. Besides that i and study to take the MCAT on July second. Should i wait for July second to submite My app or submate it now? Does being Bilingual help also.?

I submitted on July 15th and I turned out fine. That point alone will not be what prevents you from getting into schools.

Even as a URM, chances that you get in with a 2.6 sGPA is next to 0.

You're talking about a very poor GPA, applying VERY late (since MCAT scores won't be available till August for you). What kind of practice MCAT scores are you getting?

Take a look at these tables: https://www.aamc.org/data/facts/app...mcat-gpa-grid-by-selected-race-ethnicity.html

With a GPA of 2.8 you basically have a <20% chance of getting accepted anywhere even as a URM, and that's hoping that you have a pretty solid MCAT.

I would retake all your Cs, Ds, and Fs, rock the MCAT, do some research and apply DO next cycle. Don't waste the money right now.

I did talk about the My low GPA in my ps. Gerudo Do you know if there is any PS reader available or can you post the link for me.

I am doing an independent study/research this fall. I did not talk about any research in my PS besides a volunteering as a Judge of high school student research project. I am looking to talk more about research during my secondary APP.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding his or her post but it looks like he or she has a 3.1 cum and 2.6 sci GPA. The 2.6 is obviously very low for medical school but the 3.1 would certainly be doable given a decent MCAT 29+ along with a nicely sculpted application.

EDIT: I was incorrect, got it now.

And again, I think the difference between being complete in early July versus in August is negligible and is largely exaggerated.

3.1 was the nonscience GPA, 2.6 was the science GPA. Looks like the cGPA was 2.8.
MCAT is pretty paramount here, a strong score could put them in a decent situation for DO, but gotta explain the Fs.

currently i am taking cell biology and studying, and i am getting 28,25,32,34 on the practice MCAT.

Those are pretty good MCAT scores toward the end. With those GPAs i'd hesistate to say you're competitive, but you should have a shot. Apply wisely, and good luck.
