So I submitted my ACMAS already, but will be retaking the MCAT. I was wondering how my application will be dealt with in the meantime.

Will my app get any eyes on it or will it be like I don't even have an MCAT score to begin with?

I know it gets put on hold, but will that mean my app gets reviewed as soon as my new score gets sent in? Or would my app "get sent to the end of the line" for review?

You won't be considered complete until all your scores are in, so your app probably wouldn't be considered until then. As for the order apps are reviewed, it's unclear whether schools review in order of completion but that's not something you can control.

You may get secondaries back before your score comes back. I wasn't exact situation as you, I was taking my first MCAT July 18th last year. Still got secondaries back because some schools auto send them out. So you can be working on your secondary while you're waiting to get your score back

You may get secondaries if your old score meets the criteria. Schools won't look at any part of your app until the new scores are in…the order of review is not linear regardless of whether you have a retake or not.

Thanks for the responses!

What are everyone's thoughts about not indicating I'm retaking the MCAT, so schools that are within my stats review my app.
Only once my new score comes in do I add/update schools. If I choose this option, I'll be complete almost month earlier than I would be if I waited for my new score.

I don't know if I can get an answer to this question, but here goes. If my app is reviewed, will it be reviewed again once my new MCAT comes in?
