has anyone ever tried appealing a UCSF rejection (pre- or post-secondary)? What kind of response did you get?

No, but I probably will. What do I have to lose? 🙂

how would you even go about doing that?

Write a letter to the dean?????

Hey I'm with you! I have been planning on writing an appeal letter to UCSF but just never got to do it. But I WILL! I plan to write a letter to the person who sent me the rejection letter and attach two recommendation letters. Hopefully it'll change their mind. we'll see.

I just got rejected post-secondary. All along, I wasn't expecting to get an interview, so I have been thinking of sending in an appeal since they seem cool with that. I figured some other SDNer had tried it at some point...?

When did u get rejected? I am still waiting to hear from them post-secondary, I should be expecting them to say something soon. maybe my letter is in the mail. I am La La LAnd.

If you are in state, you should appeal. I know I would. I don't understand why they even consider oostaters.
